Sony Xperia 10 ii Review | Sony's smashing mid-range smartphone
Review of the Sony Xperia 10 ii after using it as my full-time smartphone, to see if this mid-range alternative to the Mark 2 flagship is a great affordable option. I’ve been testing the camera tech, gaming performance, battery life and everyday experience with the Xperia 10 ii so here’s my final verdict.

If you’re after a phone for around £300, this Sony blower is one of the best options on quite a few levels. For one it’s water resistant, quite a rarity at this budget level. The 6-inch OLED screen is notch-free and punchy, with strong contrast, while the audio chops are also unbeatable.

And while the Xperia 10 ii’s triple-lens camera struggles in tricky lighting, you’ll get good looking pics and home movies in most situations. Gaming with the likes of PubG and Call of Duty is also perfectly smooth with the Snapdragon 665 chipset (although a 700-series chip would have been preferred).

Some of those flagship features didn’t trickle down to this model, including an Always On Display and the Game Enhancer tool. However, you still get Side Sense, fast split screen and other great stuff. Check out my reviews of other mid-range smartphones to see the best around in 2020.
