In this video, I explain how Valve secretly invented the cross-platform open standard Vulkan API for gaming and did everything they could to make it go mainstream.
They even FIXED gaming on macOS by creating MoltenVK to make it easier to bring more games to the Mac.
On top of that, they FIXED Linux gaming as well! And they did all of this to dominate the gaming market with Steam!
Going even deeper, everything they did made it possible for them for release their new Steam Deck portable gaming PC.
But while doing all of that, they also prepared the world for gaming on ARM and RISC-V based chips!
